Specialist Adventure-cat gear & accessories

Your harness isn't for cats.
It's for the person holding the leash.

Goodtruce is an influencer marketing agency built for one category: adventure-cat gear. We place your product with creators who genuinely hike, fly and road-trip with their cats — then run the campaign end to end.

One category, on purpose We don't take dog work, general pet work, or anything outside adventure-cat gear. The depth is the entire product.
Creator fees at cost You see exactly what every creator is paid. Our fee is quoted separately and agreed before anything starts — no markup buried inside a creator invoice.
We'll tell you if it's too early If your margins or product page won't support creator spend yet, you'll hear it on the first call — not after the invoice.
What we do

Five services. One accountable team.

You don't get handed a spreadsheet of names and wished good luck. We source, negotiate, brief, produce, publish and report — and we own the number at the end of it.

01

Influencer sourcing

We build and maintain a roster of creators who genuinely travel with their cats — not pet accounts that posted a harness once. Every profile is checked for audience authenticity, geography, purchase intent and how they actually handle the animal on camera.

  • Audience audits
  • Fraud screening
  • Safety vetting
  • Geo & language fit
02

Campaign management

Contracts, product seeding and shipping, shot lists, revision rounds, posting windows, usage rights and payment. One project manager, one shared tracker, one weekly update. You approve; we chase.

  • Contracting
  • Seeding & logistics
  • Approvals
  • Payments
03

Content strategy

We decide what the content has to prove before anyone films. Escape-proof on a windy ridge? Fits under an airline seat? Cat actually stays calm? Then we build hooks, formats and angles around the objection that's costing you the sale.

  • Hook testing
  • Objection mapping
  • Format mix
  • Whitelisting-ready
04

Outreach & negotiation

Personalised outreach that creators actually reply to, then rate negotiation benchmarked against what this niche really pays — not generic influencer market averages. We protect your budget and the relationship at the same time.

  • Warm outreach
  • Rate benchmarking
  • Exclusivity terms
  • Long-term deals
05

Reporting & attribution

Unique codes, UTM'd links and per-creator landing pages so you can see which post moved product, not just which one got likes. Reporting after every flight, plus a plain-English read on what to double down on.

  • Per-creator ROAS
  • Code tracking
  • Content library
  • Renewal shortlist
06

Creator relations

We stay in touch with the roster between campaigns instead of cold-starting every brief. Over time that means faster yeses, better rates, and creators who'll take a second brief because the first one respected them.

  • Always-on roster
  • Ambassador programmes
  • Repeat rates
  • Community

Our niche

We only do cats that go places.

"Pet influencer marketing" is not a category — it's four categories wearing one coat. Dog content, cat content, exotics and product-review content behave nothing alike. We picked the smallest, most underserved corner of it and went deep: adventure cats. Cats who hike, fly, van-life and road-trip with their owners.

  • 1
    The audience is pre-qualified

Someone following an adventure-cat account has already accepted that cats can be harnessed, walked and travelled with. You're not paying to change a belief — you're paying to be the brand they buy.

  • 2
    It's a high-consideration purchase

Harnesses, carriers and backpacks are safety products. Buyers watch several videos before spending. Creator proof does work a product page can't.

  • 3
The talent pool is small and knowable

There are hundreds of real accounts in this space, not millions. The whole map fits in one head — which means a right-fit shortlist in days, and no budget burned on a mismatch.

  • 4
Cat content has its own physics

Cats don't take direction. Shoots run long, need patience, and go badly when the brief was written by someone who's only worked with dogs. Ours are written for the animal that's actually in the frame.

Why it works

Nobody buys a $90 harness from a product photo. They buy it after watching a cat wear one for eleven minutes.

That's the whole thesis. Our job is to make sure the cat in that video is wearing yours.

Specialist vs. multi-niche

Same budget.
Different odds.

A multi-niche agency has to learn your category on your money. We started here.

DepthOne category, learned before you ever paid for it
VS
BreadthForty categories, yours learned on your budget
Goodtruce

Adventure-cat only

One category. One roster. One team that already knows the answer.

  • SourcingA roster we built by hand
  • AudienceBuyers already sold on the idea
  • The briefWritten around cat behaviour
  • ContentTrail, van, airport, hotel room
  • BudgetGoes to creators, not discovery
  • SpeedShortlist in days
  • Animal safetyHandling screened before you sign
  • ReportingCodes and links tied to sales
  • AttentionA small book, one category
Multi-niche agency

Everything, for everyone

Good at breadth. Learning your category while the clock runs.

  • SourcingA keyword search in a database
  • AudienceBroad pet followers, mostly dog
  • The briefA template from another vertical
  • ContentStudio flatlays and unboxings
  • BudgetPays for their learning curve
  • SpeedWeeks of paid discovery first
  • Animal safetyUnscreened — your comments pay
  • ReportingImpressions, reach, screenshots
  • AttentionOne of forty accounts
The bottom line

Multi-niche agencies aren't bad. They're solving a different problem.

They buy reach across many categories at once, and they're good at it. But if adventure-cat gear is your entire business, depth in one category beats breadth across forty — every time, on the same budget.

How it works

Four steps. No mystery months.

You'll know what's happening, what it costs and what it produced at every stage.

01

Discovery

A 30-minute call plus a short brief. We dig into your product, margins, best-selling SKU, the objection that kills conversions, past campaigns and what "working" would actually look like in revenue.

02

Strategy & matching

You get a shortlist with real numbers next to every name — audience breakdown, engagement, past brand work, proposed rate and why they fit. Plus the content angles we want each of them to test.

03

Launch

We contract, ship product, brief the creators, review drafts against the brief and schedule posting so the flight lands together instead of dribbling out over six weeks.

04

Reporting & scale

A read-out per creator: spend, output, engagement, code redemptions, revenue. Then a clear recommendation — who to re-sign, who to drop, what to put paid spend behind.

Two sides, one network

Whichever side you're on.

Brands get creators who convert. Creators get briefs that respect them and invoices that get paid on time. That's the whole trade.

You make adventure-cat gear. We make people trust it.

Harnesses, carriers, backpacks, travel litter, leads, calming aids, cat-friendly stays and pet-travel services. If your buyer is someone who takes their cat out of the house, you're who we're built for.

  • A shortlist in days, not weeks. The category research is already done — on our time, not billed to you as discovery.
  • Content you can reuse. Full usage rights negotiated up front, so the assets feed your ads, product pages and email too.
  • Attribution you can defend internally. Per-creator codes and links, so you know exactly what earned its keep.
  • Brand-safety screening. We check how a creator handles their cat before your logo is anywhere near them.
  • Priced per campaign. No hidden markup on creator fees — you see exactly what they're paid, and our fee is agreed before we start.

FAQ

The questions we always get.

Straight answers, including the awkward one.

PricingWhat does a campaign cost?
Two numbers. Creator fees vary with audience size and deliverables, and are passed through at cost — you see exactly what each creator is paid, with no markup. Our fee is a flat management fee for the campaign, agreed in writing before anything starts. We'll give you a real number on the first call once we know the scope — no proposal deck required to find out.
The awkward oneYou're new. Why should we take the risk?
Fair question, and we'd rather answer it than dodge it. We don't have a case study wall yet. What we do have is a category almost nobody else has bothered to specialise in, and a structure designed so you're not betting much to find out. Start small — a single test flight with a handful of creators. Creator fees are pass-through, so most of your budget goes to the people making the content, not to us. No long lock-in, and you keep the usage rights either way — so even a flat campaign leaves you with assets you can run as paid ads.
ScopeDo you only work with cat brands?
Adventure-cat gear and accessories is where we're deepest, and it's where you should hire us. We'll take adjacent pet-travel work — carriers, travel litter, pet-friendly accommodation, airline pet services — when the audience genuinely overlaps. If you sell dog products, we'll refer you to someone better placed. Saying no to work outside the niche is the entire point of the niche.
CreatorsHow big are the creators you work with?
Mostly micro and mid-tier rather than mega accounts. In this category a smaller, genuinely engaged audience reliably outperforms a big one, because those followers are far more likely to actually own a cat and be shopping for gear. We recommend a mix across tiers, then tell you which tier did the heavy lifting once your first flight has data.
MeasurementHow do you measure success?
We agree the metric before we start, and it's usually revenue-linked: code redemptions, tracked-link sales, or product-page conversion lift. Views and engagement get reported too, but they're diagnostics, not the scoreboard. If a campaign underperforms, you'll hear it from us before you work it out yourself.
QualityWhat if a creator's content isn't good?
Every deliverable goes through a review round against the brief before it's posted — that's contracted, not a favour. If content misses the brief, the creator revises it. If it still misses, it doesn't get posted and you don't pay for it. The tighter the brief up front, the less this ever comes up.
SafetyHow do you handle animal safety?
Three layers. Screening: every creator is checked for responsible handling before they join the roster. The brief: we never ask for a shot that puts an animal in an unsafe position — no off-leash cliff edges, no forced water contact, no visibly distressed cats. The contract: creators sign on as independent contractors and are explicitly responsible for their own shoots and their animal's welfare, which keeps that liability where it belongs rather than with your brand. If your legal team needs a certificate of insurance for a particular campaign, say so early and we'll arrange cover before contracts go out.
TimingHow fast can we start?
Discovery call this week, then a shortlist within a few days of the brief being signed off. After that the honest answer is: it depends on two things we don't control — how fast creators reply, and how fast you can get product into their hands (international shipping is almost always the longest single delay). So we won't quote you a launch date on a website. What we will do is commit to one in writing the moment the shortlist is approved, once we know which creators you're working with and where they are.
CreatorsI'm a creator — is there a follower minimum?
No. We care whether your audience is real, whether you actually travel with your cat, and whether your content is good. Joining is free, non-exclusive, and commits you to nothing — you'll simply hear from us when a brief fits you.
LogisticsWhere are you based, and does it matter?
We work with brands and creators internationally and run campaigns remotely — most of this category lives online anyway. What does matter is shipping and language: we'll match you to creators in markets where you can actually deliver product and take the order.

Something else on your mind?

Ask it directly. We'd rather have an honest conversation than have you guess from a website.
